Titanium Plates I

On my way to the recreation deck, 2 hours ago, to a much needed and deserved R&R, Sellar, my security officer was telling me that she heard on a bar in Oursulaert III (the station where we're docked at the moment) that if a ship is fitted with Titanium plates Lv I instead of steel plates Lv I, that our armour would increase form 5200 to near 5800. That was music to my ears, but there is always a price. She said that the difference would be huge (that I noticed) and the price would have a marginal increase. Trading all our plates would cost +/- 60.000 ISK. I gave the OK to buy the plates, and 20 minutes later she gave them to X'roden, our engineer which he spent some time (not much) installing them. The control console in my chair didn't lie, an impressive 5891 armour points improvement, even more then she antecipated. Hmmm... it's good to have competent crew.
*Yawn*. In space it's always night and sleeping it's a rare commodity this days, I will rest now. I don't know what to expect tomorrow...
